So I’ve decided to contribute more to the circulation of the modern architecture and design works by various artists on Tumblr by finding some fresh new artists along with some old ones and posting them on my page. I really have an interest in architecture and the photography of said subject. The lights and shapes that I find through these really clean designs are really amazing when you take into account how hard it is to expose for varying lights in one set frame. Props to the photographer and architects. And props to the people at Shaun Lockyer Architects.
On a side note: One day I hope to have a home this nice :]

It’s got that new-age suburb feel to it. Screams Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
If that view doesn’t get to you, something is wrong.

Cantilever house in Lithuania by G. Natekvicus.
A lot of one-of-a-kind houses are built in the Lithuanian countryside; this is one of my new favorites.
Whoever the photographer was, props for that last shot. To capture those angles with the shadows to show the striking nature of the minimalist interior is thinking outside the box.
The whole architectural design is simple yet elegant. Seemingly, the whole interior is framed by the expansive windows on the structure’s broad side.
The obvious contrast of modernism in a surrounding such as that is a statement in itself; it strikes out in an almost poetic sense.
